THE RULES
MATERIALS:
• A pen or pencil
• One scissor
• One 6-sided dice
NUMBER OF PLAYERS: Two
SETTING UP:
1. Print the game sheet double-side and then cut the star pieces along the red dotted lines.
2. Place the word sides facing down on the table. It doesn’t matter what order they are in, just spread them out randomly.
HOW TO PLAY:
1. Choose which player is the “human” and which player is the “creature”.
2. The human must roll the dice and whatever number they get, that is how many stars they can pick up. If they roll a 1, then they must roll again until they get a number that’s greater than 1.
3. The human must not show the creature what words are on the stars they picked up.
4. Now, the human must only draw images on the blank side of the stars to explain their story. The images must connect with the word on the other side of the star.
5. The human is allowed to order the images they drew on each star in a specific order to build their story together.
6. Finally, the creature has to analyze what the human has drawn. If they analyze the story correctly then the human has found help and can return home. If they don’t analyze the story correctly then the human cannot return home.
7. If the players want to switch their character roles to build another story, then they can print another copy of the game sheet and repeat the same steps over again.
